There’s no question that change is hard. And when you work in an industry where change is constant, there are certain stressors that come with it. So how do we deal? How can we navigate the professional and personal hardships that result from change? Join Sam Plappert, Senior Writer at Power, as she uses pop history, neuroscience, and personal storytelling to explore what it means to work in constant “adapt or die” mode.

With a background in academia and a foreground in marketing, Sam’s professional interests range from scholarly research to social media messaging. She’s worked on brands like GE Appliances, Churchill Downs, University of Louisville, Herbal Essence, Old Spice and Aussie. But most of her attention goes to her three-year-old, who has inspired all of her best headlines.
