In “Stalking 101” Blackstone Media CEO Taylor Trusty will demonstrate the importance of utilizing a data-driven approach around the customer experience. By leveraging data and specific analytics tools, participants will discover how to further understand and segment website audiences, and how they interact with your website and brand. Using this data will help you create curated content and help users better connect with your brand.
Taylor steps into the arena with a background that is anything but traditional. A programmer and computer nerd since the age of 13, Taylor was working at a web design company by 15, a territory sales representative for Hewlett-Packard at 16, before becoming the head of customer service and webmaster for a sports memorabilia ecommerce startup near the end of his high school career. By age 20, Taylor had co-founded and sold his shares of his own upstart sports collectibles business before founding a web design/development agency, Blackstone Media.
Exceptional leadership and the ability to see the big picture aren’t the only things Taylor has in his arsenal. He has all the practical skills it takes to keep a digital agency running: a broad knowledge of coding and web development, knowledge of forward-thinking technologies, and a wide understanding of the many facets of business big and small.
