JOB SUMMARY

Boyd CAT is looking for a second Advertising & Marketing Specialist to develop and execute customer-facing marketing campaigns on earned, owned and paid media, including Social Media, digital campaigns, email marketing and website properties.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Advertising & Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing Department in helping to develop our brand voice, lead our external communications in both paid, earned and owned media, helping define the customer journey. In addition, this position will support the Marketing Director on other key initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
    1. Bachelor’s Degree, Background, or Experience in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience
    2. 5-7 years’ experience in Communication, Advertising, Promotions, or equivalent experience
    3. Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
    4. Highly self-directed
    5. Ability to work independently or in a team environment
    6. Knowledge of Social Media platforms and analytics
    7. Confident and articulate and able to inspire and engage others
    8. Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to manage detail work and communicate project status effectively to all levels
    9. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver corporate communications strategy, tactics and demonstrated successful metrics
    10. Travel to other locations as required to perform assigned duties, maintaining a valid operator’s license
    11. Strong verbal, written, persuasion, analytical and interpersonal skills
    12. Excellent organization and computer skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    1. Develop and execute a formalized communication process with key stakeholder on marketing campaigns
    2. Develops and executes internal engagement and culture communications strategy that maintains morale and builds one great team
    3. Develop enterprise level marketing communications strategy for organization, as well as communication strategies for individual lines of business
    4. Manage content and functionality of company website
    5. Develop media strategy, and identify and build relationships with relevant media outlets in Company markets
    6. With the Marketing Manager, develop a Social Media strategy for company
    7. Develop and execute content strategy for all Company business lines
    8. Manage and appropriately handle any postings, DMs and reviews posted on our social sites
    9. Assist in the implementation of the enterprise solutions marketing strategy
    10. Ability to translate insights into actionable marketing recommendations
    11. Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned area, high integrity and accountability standards
    12. Assist work team to meet the objectives of the department and the Company
    13. Project a positive image by interacting with employees, customers, and management
    14. Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
    15. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
    16. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
    17. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
    18. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
