As a Graphic Designer at Stewart you will create, manage, and produce design solutions for a variety of uses such as but not limited to; print collateral/advertising, brand campaigns, product packaging, digital ads, email templates, social media graphics, presentations, tradeshow booths, and websites.
Responsibilities:
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts as well as provide solutions within existing client brands
- Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project with an understanding of production/printing techniques
- Participate in design brainstorming sessions and discussions with team members
- Present concepts to team members and/or clients
- Report to and collaborate with senior designer to ensure design/brand standards are met
- Incorporate changes recommended by clients or team members into final design
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing
- Submit final layouts/files for delivery to client/printer
Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4-6 years experience at design agency or in-house creative department
- Multidisciplinary design portfolio that demonstrates expertise with both print/digital applications is required (please include a portfolio link on our resume)
- Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in basic applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote
- Strong understanding of the fundamental principles of design – including composition, typography, emphasis, contrast, balance and alignment, pacing, and proportion
- Willingness to contribute new ideas, and maintain a creative mindset while also being able to absorb and apply constructive criticism
- Understanding and maintaining the mindset that some projects will require a direct translation of provided art direction, while some will provide room for creative interpretation
- Takes initiative as well as the ability to manage themselves and meet deadlines
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Have thorough knowledge of print production and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of digital design best practices and trends
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred

- Compensation based on experience and quality of work
- Hybrid schedule (Monday & Friday work from home, Tuesday-Thursday in office)
