We’re looking for a special full-time writer/editor with a minimum of five years of experience and a proven ability to manage editorial processes. He or she must be adept at translating business strategy into compelling copy.



Writers are in the lead at WordsFresh. Our writers drive strategy, lead creative projects and form long-term relationships with clients. We have large clients doing exciting work, and we’re looking for a very special full-time writer who can join our team and help us delight them.

As a writing-centric marketing agency, WordsFresh helps clients persuade, educate and engage through high-quality writing and message strategy. Our Highlands office is relaxed, our team is upbeat, and we manage our own schedules. Writers are key players who fill important roles in our business. Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in writing marketing copy and demonstrates the following skills:

Ability to initiate and execute highly effective creative concepts in print, digital and video
Ability to produce both short- and long-form copy
Ability to turn technical subjects into clear, compelling copy
Experience with interviewing for content and accurate detail
Skilled in English grammar and punctuation and familiar with multiple style guides

Project management:
Skilled in strategic communications planning
Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
Ability to manage time and resources to meet budgets

Knowledgeable of marketing and communication best practices and how to apply them
Adept with technology
Adept at self-management and problem-solving
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy creative who demonstrates the following personal attributes:

Has a high level of personal integrity
Consistently exhibits positivity
Projects a professional presence
Is intellectually curious and committed to continuous growth
B.A. in English, communications, journalism or other writing-focused discipline is preferred.
