PURPOSE:
The Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator is responsible for marketing content development, collateral development, promotion and growth of social media channels, graphic design, website updates, newsletter development, analytics and reporting, digital and social paid campaign development and execution, and community management of GLI social media channels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create, manage, and execute content and engagement plans for GLI email marketing, website, and social media for event promotion, product promotion, partner promotion and internal/external campaigns.
- Design, create and develop digital and printed marketing collateral.
- Plan, create, execute, curate, and monitor social media content on GLI channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn).
- Develop and update content for GreaterLouisville.com (a Wordpress site), including the development of graphics/images, maintenance and updates, page development, video posting, search engine optimization (SEO), and Google Analytics reporting.
- Develop and execute email campaigns (in MailChimp), including copywriting, graphics development, and reporting.
- Monitor and report on monthly analytics, create monthly reports on social media channel growth, email engagement, website visits, etc.
- Execute on a comprehensive digital strategy that engages all digital platforms (website, social media, email, events, etc.) for all GLI departments.
- Collaborate with all GLI departments (Advocacy, Economic Development, Events, Investor Relations, Talent and Workforce, Networks, etc.) to develop and execute content for brand/marketing collateral, newsletters, website and GLI social media channels.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Collaborate with selected marketing agencies and other vendor partners.
- Event attendance to promote capture content to promote GLI investors, partners, events, and develop/post content on social media channels.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies to increase social media followers and email subscribers.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work within a small, high-energy team, and pivot when necessary.
- Good judgement, creativity, collaborative, and a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn campaign Manager, Wordpress, Adobe Suite (including mastery of Photoshop and InDesign), Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and MailChimp.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities, and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and social/digital advertising campaigns
- BS/MS degree in marketing, design, or a related field.
- At least three to five years of proven experience in digital/social marketing including graphic and layout design, campaign development and execution, analytics reporting, optimization based on reporting findings, etc.
The incumbent must be able to pass any required drug test and maintain the confidentiality of any information they encounter.
All employees of GLI are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Employees who are not vaccinated at the time of hire will be required to show proof of getting their second shot, if receiving the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, within six weeks of hire.
