Meet the Panelists
Owner, Content-1/Three Fish Gallery
With more than 30 years of experience in advertising Dan Galvin has owned agencies, production houses, and content companies. He provides content strategy, creative development and distribution for clients ranging from global corporations to the mom-and-pop store down the street. Dan’s company, Content-1, is a full-service digital advertising agency focused on the use of content to attract, engage and grow audiences for clients.
Senior Operations Specialist, El Toro
Gail has been with the El Toro Ad Operations team for three years. Her primary focus as Product Manager for their OTT/ CTV inventory includes securing/optimizing large buys for clients, sourcing new inventory, designing meaningful marketing materials, calculating efficient campaign strategies, and measuring success for clients. Outside of OTT/CTV, she is heavily involved with onboarding intern classes and general day-to-day operations for the department.
Creative Strategy, An Agency
With over four decades of creative leadership under his belt, Pip’s done it all. From a political cartoonist to a nationally recognized illustrator to a department chair to the managing director of a large diversity-marketing firm to a designer to a creative director in four different advertising agencies to an account planner and the founder and president of two local creative branding firms, Pip’s the fountainhead of An Agency. His depth and range are belied only by his dress sense and passion for championing brands and irritating Jason Falls. His experience is well represented by a wall of creative awards including two national ADDYs, a dozen regional ADDYs, too many local Gold ADDYs to count, AIGA 100 Show awards, and frequent appearances in Communication Arts and Lüerzer’s Archive magazines.

As an Advertising Creative for more than 30 years, Joel has kept pace with the rapidly changing landscape of creative communications platforms. Joel’s strategic and forward-thinking approach has been the foundation of his work with some of the best-known brands in the world including: IBM®, KFC®, Pizza Hut®, Valvoline®, Lexmark™ Burger King and Cummins®. He possesses an intuitive ability to leverage insights and experiences with strong thought leadership, and a passion that nurtures multi-disciplinary talent in bringing big ideas to life. Joel has consistently delivered solid solutions to achieve maximum market impact. In 2016, after 6 years living in the Philippines and Singapore, Joel brought his talents back to Louisville, Kentucky in his current role as Creative Director with PriceWeber where he conjures big ideas for some of the largest brands in North America.
