American Advertising Awards Gala

Louisvillian of the Year

This award is bestowed annually and selected by a jury of past recipients, which is headed up by the previous year’s recipient. It is presented at an AAF-Louisville event specifically designated for this award. The award, first given in 1950, publicly recognizes generous personal contributions to the life of the community in the areas of civic, educational or business progress in recent years. This award is for someone whose contribution is above and beyond the responsibility of his or her chosen profession.

DATE: Annually in September

Annual Awards Evening & Membership Meeting

Join us for our Annual Awards Evening & Membership Meeting. Each year we honor some of our amazing volunteers. Membership Awards include our Betty Stoner Award winner for outstanding volunteerism, the 5-Star Service Awards, and the Partnership Award. We also announce the results of the ever popular AAF-Louisville Hot 10 Awards, recognizing the 10 best and brightest advertising professionals under 32. We introduce our incoming officers, directors, and recognize the outstanding VP of the year with the President’s Star Award. The annual AAF-Louisville Education Foundation Scholarship winners are also announced.
