2023-24 Louisvillian of the Year

AAF-Louisville is pleased to recognize Sandra Frazier as the 2023-24 Louisvillian of the Year! Sandra was selected by a panel of past honorees for her commitment to the Louisville community and her positive and contagious spirit, which continues to engage and inspire.

Having a well-earned reputation as one of Louisville’s sharpest communications minds and a go-to for crisis and reputation management, Frazier founded Tandem Public Relations in 2005 after extensive work in both agency and corporate communications in Louisville and Boston. In addition to her public relations work, which serves corporate and nonprofit clients alike, Frazier has served on the boards of the University of Louisville, Boston University, the Brown-Forman Corporation, and the Glenview Trust Company.

A seasoned leader and board member of local nonprofits and community organizations, Frazier has become well known for devoting time and energy back to her hometown. In addition to personal philanthropy, she co-chaired successful capital campaigns for 21st Century Parks and the Louisville Zoo Foundation. She also serves as a trustee for the James Graham Brown Foundation and on the executive committee of Impetus for a Better Louisville.

Additionally, a passion for animals has made Sandra Frazier a cornerstone of countless Louisville community organizations that advocate for their care and well-being. Numerous organizations have recognized Frazier’s contributions with some of the community’s highest honors, including GLI, the Friends of the Louisville Waterfront, Presentation Academy, the Louisville Central Community Center, and Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana. She was also an inaugural member of Louisville Business First’s “Power 50” and appeared on the Kentucky Gazette’s Notable Women in Kentucky Politics and Government list.
