About the Speaker:

Dan Jenkins, Vice President, Data Science, AdTheorent

Dan Jenkins is Vice President of Data Science at AdTheorent, a digital advertising leader using advanced machine learning technology and solutions to deliver real-world value for advertisers and marketers.  In this role, he oversees AdTheorent’s Data Science team in applying machine learning to optimize advertising spend for the company’s brand and agency clients. Dan’s passion is solving messy, real-world problems with data science. He focuses on building and leveraging machine learning models to drive engagement and actions for advertisers

Before joining AdTheorent in 2014, Dan worked at Callida Energy where he performed data analysis and developed and tested machine learning models. Prior to that he was an instructor at New York University where he taught undergraduate math courses including Theory of Probability, Calculus, and Honors Calculus.

Dan holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics specializing in probability theory from New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from SUNY Stony Brook Honors College.
