Public Service Volunteer Opportunity @ “World’s Largest Halloween Party!”

We have the opportunity to volunteer at the sweetest party in town this October and help kick-off the Public Service Committee’s work for the new club year!
The 37th annual “World’s Largest Halloween Party!” at the Louisville Zoo presented by Meijer is in need of volunteers. You will help in our candy booths, handing out treats to children ages 11 and under. You must be 16 and over to volunteer; AAF-Louisville members may bring their family with them to volunteer as well.
The AAF-Louisville volunteer day is Thursday, October 18. The shift is 4 until 9 p.m. Volunteers must stay until the last trick-or-treater has left and shifts cannot be split, so be sure you are committed to staying the full time. The Zoo will provide breaks and snacks for volunteers. Click HERE for additional volunteer rules and instructions.
Want to join in the fun? Costumes are not required but you are welcome to get in the spirit of the evening by dressing up as your favorite superhero, pirate, princess, cartoon character and more. The Halloween Party is kooky not spooky so be sure you wear something appropriate for small children. No masks on adults please, but face painting is OK. Join the festivities and share the smiles!
