Kindred Healthcare is seeking an experienced, talented Director of Social Media for an exciting, new position. The ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast who is a collaborative self-starter. This role is an integral function in marketing and advertising efforts, directing social media strategy across multiple platforms for several lines of business.

The position works directly with divisional leadership teams to develop campaigns, curate content and define measurement for success. The Director of Social Media is one of two Directors who will report to the Division Vice President of Creative Services within the Corporate Communications Department at Kindred’s Support Center located in Louisville, Ky.

Job Responsibilities

This position will work alongside the line of business stakeholders to:

• Create an integrated, strategic social media plan that supports divisional marketing and business objectives for both B2B and B2C audiences
• Manage a master editorial calendar and editorial priorities
• Determine KPIs and monitor campaign performances, including analyzing the effectiveness of content, audience targeting and initiatives
• Participate in customer care and reputation management response efforts alongside the Community Manager and Communications Specialist
• Coordinate all organic/boosted and paid advertising efforts with the social media agency

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• Expert knowledge of LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Facebook Business Manager, Pinterest & Instagram
• 5+ years in social media management
• Ability to effectively present and communicate strategy to senior level executives
• Competence in customizing social media strategy for broad and narrow audiences
• Excellent communication, writing, presentation, cross-functional collaboration and relationship building skills
• Strong project management skills
• A bachelor's degree in marketing/business or equivalent experience
• B2B social media experience preferred
• Healthcare industry experience highly preferred
• Clear understanding of social media monitoring tools and dashboards (Sprinklr certification or equivalent preferred)
