Are you passionate about fitness and sharing your knowledge through smart, well-written content? We’re a Louisville-based fitness brand in search of a self-motivated, fitness-focused writer to join our team in a freelance capacity. The right candidate will be a self starter who goes the extra mile to research in-depth information about all things fitness and stays on top of the latest industry trends.

This freelance position will work closely with our brand team to master the brand voice and help execute the content strategy. You’ll primarily focus on short and long form content, like social media content and blogs for our subscribers. The right candidate already has experience writing about health and wellness, time and drive to contribute multiple thoughtful content pieces a week, and the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

While this position will start out as a part-time freelance role, we’ve always got room on our team for a candidate we can’t live without.

What We’re Looking For:

- 1-2 years of writing in a professional capacity
- Existing knowledge of the health and wellness industry with an eagerness to learn more
- A sense of adventure and readiness to take on new challenges
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- The ability to quickly adapt to and write within the established brand voice and tone
- A passion for making complex topics easy to digest and fun to read
- Ability to handle concurrent tasks and meet deadlines

Bonus If You:

- Have experience working with content management systems like Shopify
- Hold a degree in a related field
- Enjoy creating healthy recipes to share on our blog and social channels
