2020-2021 AAF-Louisville Scholarship Announement

The American Advertising Federation – Louisville (AAF-Louisville), the area’s oldest membership organization for marketing, advertising, and communications professionals, has announced the 2020-2021 Marketing and Communications Scholarship recipients.
Each year, AAF-Louisville presents the Bud Ballard Scholarship and the Diversity scholarship, to local students who are pursuing a career in advertising or marketing. This includes disciplines such as communications, journalism, advertising, public relations, marketing, graphic arts and multi-media.
The organization is able to award these scholarships thanks to the AAF-Louisville Education Endowment Fund established in 1999. Founding contributors to the endowment include The Power Agency, PriceWeber, Summit Media and WDRB. Over the past 20 years, the endowment has grown to over $100,000 thanks to annual donations and has awarded 39 scholarships totaling nearly $70,000.
2020 Diversity ScholarshipD’Coryia Cunningham AAF-Louisville is pleased to announce that this year’s Diversity Scholarship winner is D’Coryia Cunningham. D’Coryia is a full-time student at Indiana University Southeast and is studying strategic communications. In addition to being a full-time student, D’Coryia is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and works full time for the United States Census Bureau. |

2020 Bud Ballard ScholarshipKaitlin Henderson This year’s Bud Ballard Scholarship winner is Kaitlin Henderson. Kaitlin is a senior at Indiana University Southeast majoring in strategic communications. In addition to her classes, she is assisting with the marketing and promotion of an up and coming health food store. Kaitlin is also studying sustainability at IUS and is using her passion for the subject to create an online thrifting business. |
