Jul 8, 2020
The American Advertising Federation – Louisville (AAF-Louisville), the area’s oldest membership organization for marketing, advertising, and communications professionals, has announced the 2020-2021 Marketing and Communications Scholarship recipients.
Each year, AAF-Louisville presents the Bud Ballard Scholarship and the Diversity scholarship, to local students who are pursuing a career in advertising or marketing. This includes disciplines such as communications, journalism, advertising, public relations, marketing, graphic arts and multi-media.
The organization is able to award these scholarships thanks to the AAF-Louisville Education Endowment Fund established in 1999. Founding contributors to the endowment include The Power Agency, PriceWeber, Summit Media and WDRB. Over the past 20 years, the endowment has grown to over $100,000 thanks to annual donations and has awarded 39 scholarships totaling nearly $70,000.
