American Advertising Federation-Louisville Announces HOT 10 Award Winners
Organization recognizes best and brightest in advertising industry at annual membership meeting

Louisville, Ky. – Last night, Louisville advertising and marketing professionals gathered at the Kentucky Derby Museum to recognize the best and brightest young professionals in the industry at the annual American Advertising Federation – Louisville (AAF – Louisville) Hot 10 Awards.

Since 2006, AAF-Louisville has recognized the city’s top advertising and marketing professionals under the age of 32 that are making a difference in both their industry and the local community via the Hot 10 Awards. The Hot 10 Awards is the organization’s largest event of the year, bringing nearly 150 industry leaders together for the celebration.

Recipients are nominated by their superiors, colleagues, and clients. Once nominated, individuals submit an application outlining their achievements in education and public service, as well as in their careers. The applications are then judged by a panel of past AAF-Louisville presidents and the top ten outstanding professionals are recognized at the annual awards ceremony and membership meeting.

The 2018 Hot 10 winners are:
Christina Abney, Atria Senior Living
Patrick Boardman, Maryhurst
Chelsea Chockley, Scoppechio
Elizabeth Kitterman, Power
Blair Klayko, Kindred Healthcare
Katelyn Dobson McBroom, OOHology
Jenna Morales, Fieldtrip
Katherine Kington North, RunSwitch
Katie O’Connor, Sun Tan City
Christen Smith, Bandy Carroll Hellige

“Every year we look forward to this exciting event, where we recognize Louisville’s top movers-and-shakers at the Hot 10 Awards,” said Lauren Beckley, Executive Director of AAF- Louisville. “Each of these winners stands out for their contributions to the industry, and our community, as well as the groundwork they are laying for the future of advertising in Louisville.”

In addition to recognizing the Hot 10 winners, AAF-Louisville also honored some amazing volunteers, inducted incoming officers and directors. The 2018 Scholarship winners were also announced.

This was the first year the event took place at the Historic Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs, and tickets included admittance to Twilight Racing that night. This event is sponsored by Louisville Business First and MPC Productions.
