LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The American Advertising Federation – Louisville (AAF – Louisville), the area’s oldest membership organization for marketing, advertising, and communications professionals has named a new Executive Director, Allison Deely.
Allison brings more than 15 years of experience in developing and leading teams to success. Previous to her role as AAF – Louisville’s Executive Director, Allison managed client relations and marketing for Waycross Partners, an Investment Management firm in Louisville. Before joining Waycross Partners, she served as the Operations Manager for the AAF – Louisville, where she managed the organization’s initiatives and member communications. She is a University of Louisville graduate and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
“Allison is the definition of a leader and we are thrilled to welcome her back to the team as our new executive director,” said Kelley Kerger, President of AAF-Louisville. “We know from her previous role at AAF that Allison has a way of effectively connecting with our members, motivating our volunteers, and seeking out new ways to support the mission of the organization.”
Allison began her career as a regional training manager in customer service for a national restaurant company. She developed training materials and worked with managing partners to provide brand consistency throughout the region.
“The reason I am so passionate about the advertising industry and related fields here in Louisville is because the talent we have in this city truly is unmatched,” said Allison Deely, Executive Director for AAF-Louisville. “I look forward to serving our members, driving the organization’s goals, and growing the understanding of how our industry impacts the community as a whole.”
As the new executive director, Deely will serve as the “face of AAF-Louisville” in the Greater Louisville community and beyond. Her key role is to build lasting relationships with current and potential and members. More specifically, the executive director works with volunteer leadership to strategize and execute fundraising strategies, to grow and retain the membership, to ensure the smooth operation of the organization, to lead the membership in the execution of cultivation and stewardship procedures, and to oversee budgets and finances.
