Dear Members & Friends,
Welcome to a new club year with AAF-Louisville! We hope you are enjoying the summer and taking some time to relax. While it is vacation season for some, our volunteers are hard at work planning our upcoming calendar of events and initiatives!
As we head into a new year, we have much to be proud of as a club. We’ve weathered an unpredictable few years. We’ve had to reinvent the wheel in a short amount of time, and I credit our Board of Directors, our passionate volunteers, our Executive Director and the continued support of our members for making it to this new year with great things on the horizon!
However, even with the progress we’ve made, we still face challenges. We need new volunteers to bring fresh perspectives to our committees. We need new sponsors to support our initiatives, and everything we do, we do as a primarily volunteer organization with limited resources.
Despite these hurdles, I see a bright horizon. Our organization can continue to be the exciting, impactful association that it has been for over 70 years in our city. But we need your help. Attend our events, sponsor our activities, and volunteer with our committees. Help us continue to seek new heights!
