A Note From Leadership

AAF- Members & Friends,

In light of recent events, the leadership team believes that AAF-Louisville can not stand silent. We join AAF National and local chapters from across the country in denouncing racism and standing in solidarity with the Black community.

Over the last few days, we have been taking the time to listen, learn, and reflect. We know we must continue to do our part to dismantle inequality. We have made a commitment to listen to and elevate Black voices and to support inclusion for all in our industry, and the community as a whole.

Our VP of Diversity & Inclusion, Phelicia Ball, along with her committee, will lead the organization’s efforts in creating an action plan to make our local industry more equitable, diverse, and inclusive. If you have any resources to share or would like to help with the committee’s efforts, please feel free to reach out to Phelicia at Diversity@AAFLouisville.org or the leadership team at Info@AAFLouisville.org.

Stay safe and be well.

Government Relations:
Ad Industry Leaders Address Congress

Free journalism relies on data-driven digital advertising, and in a time where less money is being spent, ad-hoc restrictions on data can take a devastating toll on digital journalism.

AAF National VP of Government Affairs, along with leaders from the 4A's, Association of National Advertisers, Interactive Advertising Bureau and the Network Advertising Initiative, came together to advocate for national regulations that will help to ensure the sustainability of digital advertising and in turn, digital media.
