Volunteer Opportunity: Kentuckiana Pride Foundation Media Team Committee Members

Kentuckiana Pride Foundation (KPF) serves the LGBTQIA+ community in the Louisville Metropolitan area. The KPF board and committee members are responsible for delivering on the mission of the corporation. Committee members help by carrying out the goals and objectives of the KPF board through various activities using member skills and abilities.
The KPF Media Team Committee is in search of volunteers to join our team! We depend on our volunteers to help carry out media, communications, public relations, and event-related activities on behalf of the KPF board. Volunteers will help perform duties such as developing press releases, creating graphics and video content, promoting events, organizing ad campaigns, fostering media relationships through networking and contact solicitation, planning media campaigns, and by developing online, social media, and other creative content.
A successful Media Team Committee volunteer will have experience and background in one of
the following areas:
- Mass communications and media.
- Film and production studies.
- Social media marketing and digital audiences.
- Advertising, promotions, marketing, and product development.
