Louisville-based integrated creative and strategic communications firm with diverse client portfolio and inclusive outlook in growth mode. Expanded account activity driving need for additional Account Executive to join our team.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities: Hands-on project management and attentive interaction as primary agency liaison on multiple client accounts. Gain understanding of client objectives then work together with team members to develop integrated strategies to achieve client goals. Actively oversee project activity from concept through to tactical execution, offering creative insight and championing client’s brand positioning throughout the process. Establish timelines and facilitate client feedback and approval cycles. Cultivate client relationships to help agency leadership identify opportunities for long-term account sustainability.

Patient while maintaining appropriate sense of urgency on deadlines and priorities. Continually challenges self and colleagues to be innovative and challenge the status quo. Skills: Exemplary communication skills—in emails, face-to-face, on phone, whatever it takes—with clarity, tact and confidence when interacting with teammates, clients and vendors. Solid understanding of creative and account management processes, with experience and interest in both traditional and digital media. Ready to take ownership of agency workflow processes and protocols, with confidence to suggest and implement new ideas for increasing efficiencies and improvements. Will need to learn Basecamp (online job tracking) and Harvest (time tracking) systems if not already familiar.

Requirements: BS or BA degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. Ideal candidate will have worked a couple of years in a creative environment —either with an agency or in a marketing/communications role on client side. Minimal regional travel may be required on occasion. Bonus points: strong organizational, project management and analytical skills. Experience in copywriting, strategy or marketing/communications plan development. Experience with social/digital media buying. Ability to work remotely and work with a remote team.
