JOB SUMMARY
Frost Brown Todd LLC, a regional law firm of 950 + legal professionals and staff in twelve offices located throughout the mid-west, Dallas, TX, and Pittsburgh, PA is currently searching for a Client Proposals Specialist based in Louisville, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis as a member of the Marketing/Business Development Department. The Client Proposals Specialist will be responsible for 1) overseeing the process and coordination of all RFPs and pitches firm wide; 2) drafting proposal-related content, working with the business development team, attorneys, firm leaders and across departments to accurately detail firm experience and capabilities; 3) developing and maintaining proposal-related databases to track firm wide pitch and RFP activity and content management. JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, public relations, communication or relevant field required.
•2-5 years of experience in a marketing or business development-related position preferred.
•Experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly desired.
•Highly proficient working in Microsoft Word, including creating and using advanced templates. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel also required.
•Experience working in Adobe InDesign a plus.
•Must possess excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
•Must possess a strong attention to detail with planning and organizational skills necessary to establish and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
•Must be an independent self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent deadline-oriented opportunities.
•Must have the ability to communicate effectively and with a high level of professionalism when working with attorneys, clients, staff and vendors.
•Must possess exemplary client service and teamwork skills.
•Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain when performing a high volume of deadline-oriented tasks and duties under time constraints.
•Ability to deliver exceptional client service, demonstrate flexibility, adapt to changes, and be team oriented.
•Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations for pricing proposals/budget preparation at a level normally acquired through an associate degree, high school or the equivalent.
Job Duties:
•Oversee the process and coordination of all RFPs and pitches firm wide from start to finish.
•Draft proposal-related content, working with the business development team, attorneys, firm leaders, and across departments to accurately detail firm experience and capabilities.
•Prepare, package and finalize documents/files for submission, including coordination with Firm document services team for printed submissions.
•Develop and maintain proposal-related databases to track firm wide RFP and pitch activity and content management.
•Work with graphic designers when necessary to coordinate the transition of content into design and/or in utilizing provided templates.
•Develop and present RFP policies that adhere to Firm protocols.
•Adhere to Firm brand standards and style guides.
•Coordinate with Pricing Manager to ensure pricing proposals are consistent with client goals.
•Coordinate with Firm leaders to ensure technical proposal requirements are appropriately addressed including, finance, billing, conflicts, ethics, IT and other departments.
•Maintain contact with attorneys, staff and clients and observe confidentiality of client and firm matters.
•Assist with any other projects as needed by the Marketing/Business Development Dept.
