Spacia Group is seeking a dynamic Creative Director to lead the company's art department as well as collaborate with designers, sales personnel, and the marketing team.

We provide custom (framed) art, decorative and backlit mirrors, and barn doors to the hospitality, healthcare, and corporate markets.

Creative Director is responsible for connecting the creative process of Spacia Group with prospective and current clients. As part of the job, close face-to-face collaboration with designers, sales personnel, and the marketing team is required to produce creative content for products and services being sold. The Creative Director supervises team members and oversees projects, events, and product launches including advertising strategies. The Creative Director guides all projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the art/creative department and will keep one foot in the trenches helping to generate the big ideas. Additionally, the Creative Director will work closely with the marketing department to assist in design, content, and graphic art to propel Spacia Group to higher levels.

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the creative team in the production of all art packages and collaborate with art personnel to ensure that all creative ideas are presented properly/consistently.
  • Manage the creative process from conception to completion.
  • Determine and monitor the art department’s workload and schedules; provide work direction to staff.
  • Based on workload within department, create art packages as needed.
  • Oversee client visions and proposals.
  • Meet with clients or upper management to explain strategies and solutions.
  • Attend sales presentations to help clients understand the creative angle of Spacia Group.
  • Assist clients in resolving issues by responding to questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Obtain client approval when needed by presenting final layouts to the client.
  • Review the art department’s work, troubleshoot and provide feedback.
  • Ensure that each project has the specific financial and personnel resources it requires to be successful.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, particularly the sourcing department.
  • Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommend changes to art department.
  • Oversee profitability, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage and cultivate the career development of direct reports.
  • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff.
  • Work with the executive team to implement the art department’s annual goals and overall objectives.

  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Ensure visual communications and brand standards are met.
  • Produce promotional materials by developing basic presentation approaches and assisting in layout, design, and copy writing.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies by examining client objectives, product offering, and market trends.
  • Assist in shaping brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate.
  • Produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.

  • 5 years of experience in consultancy or design field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience creating custom studio art in various mediums such as painting, digital, and photography.
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to employ creative thinking and innovative ideas.
