The Digital Marketing Assistant is a valued team member who will support our dynamic and collaborative marketing department. You have a passion for data and analytics as well as the ability to pick up new systems, methods, or processes, and quickly gain efficiency.
This position will assist the Senior Inbound Producer in the synthesis of content performance and website behavior. Common tasks include data collection, identification of trends, analysis of competitors, and creation of client-facing reports.
Responsibilities include:
- Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
- Working with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Volume/hours of work will vary based on clients needs (likely 3 or 4 days per week and potentially full time hours when needed.) While this role is currently on a contract basis, there may be the opportunity to grow into regular employee status based on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Marketing, Communication or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Understanding of and experience with multiple social media platforms from a tactical lens.
