ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF PAID SEARCH
The Director of Search Engine Marketing is a leadership position within the LEAP Amp team. This role is responsible for the management, growth, and overall success of the SEM team along with the success of our SEM client projects. This position is responsible for growing this team's capability and managing that growth through additional resources when necessary.
The Director of SEM is an integral role at LEAP Amp. Serving as a lead strategist to our current clients, potential clients and our execution team. This position contributes on the front line of client strategic planning, and in most situations works with an account manager to help provide a world-class experience for our clients.
LEAP Amp relies on close, seamless relationships with vendors to provide our clients with successful campaigns. This position is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with those partners. LEAP Amp's goal is to redefine what media means in the agency world. We harness the paid power of social & digital media to drive business results for brands looking to share their story with the world.

Occasional travel is required for this position.
5+ years media management experience, with at least 2 years experience managing pay-per-click advertising.
Agency experience or other experience working in a strategic, client-facing capacity strongly preferred.
Google AdWords certification required.
Bachelor's degree in related field of equivalent work experience preferred.
In-depth understanding of creative and media processes.
Prior experience leading and managing small teams preferred.
Passion for search and digital marketing.
Desire to work with clients.
Strategic thinking capabilities.
High degree of detail-orientation.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Enthusiasm for social and digital media.
