Internship

JOB SUMMARY

Get ready for a fun summer. As GoWild expands our platform beyond mobile, our development team is looking for an intern to join and work directly with our developers. This intern will be responsible directly for the web interfaces. Get ready for a fun summer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

GoWild is searching for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial-minded developer intern to join our team for a paid summer internship.

This is going to be wildly challenging. And it will certainly be fun.

This is an opportunity for someone who is not afraid of hard work and wants to be treated like a team member within a quickly growing company. We’re not hiring a coffee gopher—we want a creative, collaborative problem solver who can make an impact (you will be making your own coffee, though, but at least the coffee is free).

This is a chance to acquire real life experience in development, working with a world-class, award-winning team of developers and designers. You should certainly be able to complete this internship with a rockstar portfolio piece, and the ability to say you made a real impact for one of the hottest startups in the outdoor space.

IMPORTANT: We are only accepting applications from those who can work at our office in Louisville, Kentucky. While we appreciate your enthusiasm for GoWild, applications for remote positions will not be considered or acknowledged.

Front-end Developer Internship Description
As GoWild expands our platform beyond mobile, our development team is looking for an intern to join and work directly with our developers. This intern will be responsible directly for the web interfaces, animations and touch points of a product being used by tens of thousands of people. The stakes are high, the pressure is on and the reward will be aplenty.

If you're the type to need handholding, this is not for you. If you're a self starter who wants to learn but can also figure stuff out on your own, let's talk.

Qualifications:
• Must have a portfolio of previous work (classwork is OK if it's mind-numbingly good)
• Experience with Javascript
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be familiar with responsive HTML5 / CSS3 layouts
• Ability to implement cross-browser testing and quality control
• Familiarity with GIT or similar version control
• Experience with Adobe's Create Suite and Sketch
