JOB SUMMARY

The graphic design specialist is responsible for capturing and sharing visually the exciting, diverse and mission-driven work of the Trager Family JCC and Jewish Federation of Louisville – with a goal of engaging members, donors and the community.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Leading and overseeing creative projects for organization and all graphic design projects (print & digital) that deliver on the strategic vision for the Trager Family JCC and Jewish Federation
  • Collaborating with departments, marketing team members, contractors and partners on creative work, workflow and timelines with a focus on:

    Quality of work/brand standards cohesion
    Responsiveness
    Adherence to deadlines
    Efficiency
    Accuracy/editing
    Communications with department ‘clients’ on projects

  • Working with marketing staff on layout, design and print deadlines for Community paper, the Jewish Louisville newspaper
  • Communication and ongoing meetings with department and programming leaders to plan and strategize marketing campaigns/needs for events/programs and executing campaign tactics in a timely manner
  • Developing creative concepts, and working with marketing team and department leads to incorporate feedback and finalize creative -- for Trager Family JCC membership campaigns and Jewish Federation Annual Campaigns (and other campaigns, as needed)
  • Maintain and manage relationships with external vendors/partners website companies, printers; process internal paperwork for partners efficiently
  • Technical management of digital communication vehicles (with IT dept) in Trager Family JCC, including but not limited to digital boards used for marketing in building, Zoom, Facebook Live and other virtual event program platforms
  • Oversight of social media, email and digital communications internally/externally
  • Other duties as required by business needs

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Graphic design experience; 3-5 years in similar role
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Email campaign management experience
  • Social media content development experience
