JOB DESCRIPTION
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted. Salary commensurate with experience. Grade EF
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education or online learning is preferred. Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, account/project and budget management knowledge and ability to work with various teams are essential.
Position Description:
The University of Louisville, Online Learning team within the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning is seeking a Coordinator of Marketing and Communications for online programs. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Communications for Online Learning, the coordinator will provide strategic and tactical marketing & communications support for Online Learning unit. The online learning marketing coordinator will be responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing plans for online programs, that are aligned with the department's overall goals, write copy for collateral and promotional items for online and offline marketing campaigns, create and execute content strategies, including videos, commercial spots, infographics, blogs, etc.
This person will coordinate online/offline campaigns and internal/external projects, perform website content creation and optimization, and provide communications support to online programs. This individual will perform research for market trends, competitors and benchmarking; track data and measure the effectiveness of the marketing plans and advertising campaigns; and develop and apply best practices for continuous process improvement. This individual will also maintain budgets and produce campaigns performance reports. Lastly, the coordinator will promote recruiting events to generate interest and engage qualified online students. This position is located at the Belknap Campus.
