As a Marketing Intern you will work on the Marketing Team and report to the Marketing Manager. This is a 90-day paid internship. During your time at El Toro you will have the opportunity to put your skills to the test and work with some of the greatest minds in the industry. This position will have emphasis on copy and social media strategy, and how they fit into our digital marketing initiatives. The role and responsibilities of this position are performed with the supervision and guidance of the marketing manager throughout the course of the internship.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales and product teams to help develop branding messages
Assist with creating and maintaining a company voice across all forms of media
Drafting & editing blog posts, social media posts, and website content for all brands
Ability to quickly turn-around content & project materials with short deadlines
Creating material/templates for employee internal use
Use of SEO to ensure company content is seen by a large audience
Ensuring copy is relevant, insightful, and educational from an advertising and technology perspective
Developing a comprehensive knowledge base for employee, client, and broad audience use
Performs other duties as assigned as it relates to marketing

Required Qualifications:
Keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive communication
Two years of relevant work experience
Must enjoy a dynamic workplace - it's never the same day twice
Proficiency with technology is a must - Desktop and Mobile
Experience writing content from a technical perspective is a plus
Possesses confidence to voice your thoughts in a collaborative environment
Positive and energetic attitude with exceptional written/verbal communication, research, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in or currently studying Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or another related field
2+ years experience writing in advertising, technology, or other relevant industry
Comprehensive portfolio of written communication available for review
