JOB SUMMARY
PriceWeber is an agency with a 52-year history of creating landmark advertising for some of the world’s most famous, and most ambitious, clients. We are looking for a media planner/buyer to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Here’s what you’ll do:- Plan and develop advertising media programs and negotiate and purchase TV, radio, digital, outdoor and print media
- Improve and maintain positive relations with media representatives
- Maintain and update a media database and calendar
- Plan and develop advertising media programs within an assigned group of markets
- Evaluate editorial content, ratings and audience composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience
- Confer with media representatives to evaluate the best placement, and ensure optimum use of budgeted funds
- Gather statistics and prepare a media plan, flowchart and directives to guide the buying process
- Study demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences for print, broadcast and online advertising
- Calculate reach and frequency of potential media vehicles
- Maintain all media buys, and be responsible for post-buy results
The ideal person has:
- A bachelor’s degree (required)
- Two to three years of media planning/buying experience
- Strong mathematical abilities (required)
- Microsoft Office experience (preferred), including Outlook, and experience with Strata (preferred)
