The position of New Business Development/Account Executive is responsible for the prospecting and development of opportunities to serve clients with Content-1 services. This position will also be responsible for nurturing these new relationships into the future managing ongoing projects. This position also serves as a liaison between the client and Content-1 staff ensuring that work is produced accurately and efficiently within defined requirements and budgets. Other responsibilities may be assigned as we may agree upon in the future. Core responsibilities are listed below:

• Network and prospect for new business opportunities through involvement in groups and organizations that provide avenues to meeting qualified prospects
• Organize efforts to pitch new work to existing and potential clients
• Serve as a liaison between clients and Content-1 staff ensuring project success
• Build rapport and credibility to comfortably engage in frequent contact and build solid relationships with clients and partner agencies
• Remain actively involved in client initiatives, including understanding of business building, strategy, media and creative projects
• Manage client expectations regarding budget, scope of work, timing, schedules and process
• Learn about and strategize to influence clients’ decision making surrounding digital marketing and advertising opportunities


• Proficient in Mac OS, MS Office suite
• Digital Advertising sales and networking experience
• Understanding of web development, SEO and social media marketing processes
• Ability to work within a CRM to track contacts and report on opportunities
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, and organizational skills
• Ability to guide the development of and to execute presentations and pitches
• Creativity and passion with a positive attitude and a sense of humor
• Ability to work well with teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and meet deadlines
• Existing client base and new business network is a plus
