JOB DESCRIPTION

Stewart & Associates, Inc., a 50-year-old branding design consultancy, is seeking a production artist/junior designer.

Responsibilities:

Prepare design files for print and digital production - build final art
Create ad resizes for print and digital collateral, apply design principles including layout, typography, and composition to final art
Strong understanding of production/printing techniques
Package and preflight files for release to printers
Design print and digital collateral as needed

Graphic design college program or equivalent training
Qualified candidates must have the ability to complete a pre-hire sample project

Candidates Must:

High level of proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Must have understanding of print and digital file formats and when to apply them
Ability to take direction as well as be able to work independently
Efficient, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills
A good design aesthetic is essential
