The Power Agency is looking for a Senior Art Director.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We need someone that’s going to make an immediate impact in our creative department. There’s a bunch of boring details below, but if you really want an interview, have some personality (read: not an ego) and show us your best stuff.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
  • Develops concepts and collaborates with other disciplines (copywriting, UX, CG, web development) to produce a very high quality of marketing materials
  • Assists Creative Director with all assigned production and follows through on all projects
  • Understands brand guidelines and applies them appropriately
  • Designs in a variety of styles
  • Occasionally assists in crafting pitches for new business, or to grow existing client relationships
  • Remains current on industry trends and technology
  • Motivates and inspires Asst. Art Directors and Art Directors to learn, grow and push their boundaries in conceptual thinking and executional skills
  • Contributes constructive, clear and honest feedback to creative critiques
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Conceptual and innovative thinker
  • Ability to understand objectives and strategy and translate into compelling creative
  • Ability to work on a broad spectrum of projects – traditional print, digital, branding and more, even under tight deadlines
  • Motivated by achieving results and comfortable working on/with a variety of teams and clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, confident and energetic
  • Strong time-management skills¬¬¬¬
  • Proven experience leading a team of creatives on multiple projects
  • Basic understanding of printing process, photography, illustration, typography and editing
  • 4-6 years agency experience as an Art Director
