ABOUT THE SENIOR DIGITAL DESIGNER
The Senior Digital Designer combines their superior design skills with a proven ability to make strong decisions and push the team to deliver targeted/beautiful work developing original creative concepts and approaches as well as overseeing project design all the way through execution.
This role will have influence over a dynamic range of projects and disciplines including digital design, animation, film, social media, experiential, and emerging technologies. You will have opportunities to influence projects from a 30,000-foot view upstream with client pitches and ideation workshops setting the course and creative direction, while also serving as the primary executional designer.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee design and copy direction including traditional, print, digital, mobile, web, animation, film, experiential, and emerging creative mediums.
Collaborate closely with ECD to execute on Spark and client creative vision.
Serve as primary hands-on designer for mobile, web, digital, and print design elements and deliverables.
Manage freelance design support as needed on a per-project basis.
Lead internal and client reviews as assigned.
Assist or lead UX wireframing for web and mobile.
Maintain and manage design production calendars, collaboration, and correspondence
Lead creative meetings with diverse teams to gather and distill information, track timelines, and ask the right questions for context, clarifying ambiguous and assumptive feedback.
Provide weekly creative project status reports and feedback.
Assist with estimate creation and monitor project scope to avoid scope creep.
Collaborate across all LEAP Group agencies as assigned working with principals, creative directors, designers, copywriters, and various other creatives, client service, and strategy as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience managing creative / agency / marketing / video / animation / content or other types of creative projects
Experience within the advertising, marketing, or PR industry
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Competency with Sketch, Zeplin, or equivalent web design platforms
Experience with UX and web development workflows preferred
Portfolio or work samples are required as a part of the application.
