ABOUT THE SEO COPYWRITER

The SEO Copywriter is a valued team member who will support our dynamic and collaborative marketing department. You have a passion for data and analytics as well as the ability to pick up new systems, methods, or processes, and quickly gain efficiency.

This position will assist the Senior Inbound Producer in the synthesis of content performance and website behavior. Common tasks include data collection, identification of trends, analysis of competitors, and creation of client-facing reports.

Responsibilities include:

Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
Tracking, reporting, and analyzing keyword analytics.
Recommend changes to website, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Contributing to content strategy growth through keyword research, SEO optimization and tailoring content to the marketing funnel needs.
Submitting drafts and iteratively refining based on internal feedback and creative direction.
Creating content that is goal-oriented and adheres to a consistent voice and brand standards.
While this role is currently on a contract basis, there may be the opportunity to grow into regular employee status based on business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Marketing, Communication or related field or equivalent work experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Understanding of and experience with multiple keyword monitoring platforms from a tactical lens.
