Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is an execution-heavy social role with a clear strategic growth path. You will own day-to-day organic social publishing and management, help interpret analytics, bring platform POVs to the team, and work with the Creative Director to turn social observations into client-ready recommendations. The ideal candidate is digitally-savvy, has a good relationship with both their logical-left and creative-right brain with a passion for understanding the algorithm, the analytics and the alchemy of creating scroll-stopping content. You will collaborate alongside content producers, art directors, copywriters, brand management and creative directors. From strategy, concepting and community management to performance analytics and influencer partnerships, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute across all facets of our social media services.

Responsibilities:

Social Strategy, Content Development and Post Scheduling
  • Assist in the creation of social media content calendars and schedules.
  • Schedule, publish and optimize content based on approved content calendars.
  • Support copywriters/creative directors with writing captions and drafting posts that reflect brands’ goals and tone.
  • Assist in securing or sourcing visual assets for posts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of social platform features, tools, and best practices to keep the agency and clients at the forefront of trends.

Community Engagement & Monitoring
  • Within various brands’ voices respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor audience interactions and escalate any important issues to the team.
  • Help manage and participate in platform and content trends or conversations relevant to clients’ industries.

Social Media Analytics & Reporting
  • Gather and compile data from platform analytics.
  • Prepare reports on post-performance and suggest optimization tactics.
  • Conduct social audits and competitor analyses to identify trends and inform strategy for new and existing clients.
  • Organize and articulate analytics to brand team and assist in preparing client-ready decks and presentations.

Campaign Support & Collaboration
  • Coordinate with director of project management, brand management, strategy teams, and fellow creative team members to meet deadlines and client goals.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines while upholding BCH’s high standards of creativity and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with creative director, brand managers and brand director in turning analytical performance data into actionable social recommendations.
