JOB SUMMARY

Spalding University seeks a Web Marketing Manager to manage the University’s website to support admissions recruitment and the University’s strategic goals.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Web Marketing Manager will support enrollment goals through the creation and search engine optimization (SEO) of webpages, maintaining website compliance and accessibility and monitoring key performance indicators to meet marketing initiatives. The Web Marketing Manager reports directly to Director of Marketing and Communications, works closely with Information Technology (IT) and collaborates as an essential member of the Marketing and Communications team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Web design and web content development
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Managing web projects
  • Working with website vendors
  • Analyzing website metrics and tracking data
  • Utilizing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Working closely with IT on website compliance and accessibility


SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:
  • Web design and web content development
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:
  • Track record of innovative, creative work in web with measurable positive results
  • Experience working on web redesign
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit and/or educational organization
  • Interest in and experience with education and academic achievement

INTERRELATIONS

  • Regular or daily contact with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
  • Regular contact with the general public.
  • Must have an appreciation and respect for diverse populations.
