Dear AAF-Louisville Members and Friends –

Spring in Kentucky for many of us invokes fond memories of all things Derby, including AAF-Louisville’s Spring Day at the Downs. After missing last year, we’re so excited to say that Spring Day at the Downs is back! Our event will be held on Wednesday, April 28th.

While we are excited to celebrate in person, we are committed to doing so as safely as possible. This year’s event will be hosted on the Grandstand Terrace, an outdoor space with stadium-style seating and a partially covered patio. Capacity will be limited to ensure that guests can safely social distance. In addition, all Churchill Downs COVID-19 protocols will be honored, and masks will be required.

As capacity will be limited, I encourage you to purchase tickets as soon as possible if you and your colleagues are interested in attending the event. For more information about Day at the Downs and to purchase tickets, visit our website.

We are excited to introduce to you our 2020-2021 VP of Membership Engagement, Sara Martin! Sara is a Senior Account Executive at The Hive, Humana’s in-house agency.

Sara has been a member since 2020. She joined and started volunteering as soon as she moved to Kentucky to connect to the local advertising and marketing industry. This is also why she wanted to volunteer to support membership – to continue to build a strong, active and engaging organization that can support others throughout their journeys.

2021 DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP: APPLICATIONS NOW ACCEPTED

AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS: DISTRICT WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Congratulations to our local entrants who received an award in the recent district competition! District winners have the opportunity to compete nationally to earn the competition’s top award.

Congrats to Clayton & Crume, Doe-Anderson, LEAP Agency and Mightily! Also to our student winners: Aung Oo, Amadea Schenk and Susan Pallmann!
